Here are some single shots from a drum track i recorded. I actually used these for a great hiphop sounding drum track by putting them in my sampler and shortening up the decay. Recorded with a zoom ps-04, transfered to computer digitally.

This is one from when i first got into digital music. I "penciled" in midi graphs, and manipulated other samples from a buddies sound bank, thus creating. . . Pollie soft. I love the mumbling bass rhythms in the background under the subtle jazz hits, maybe?.

Raw sampled ieframe. Exe on a hungarian windows 7 64-bit computer using audacity. The reason why it's only 11khz in frequency range is becaue 44 100 hz makes the sample too high pitched.

This sound is made by my old continuity meter when the contacts are moved around. The clicking sounds similar to that of a more modern geiger counter or dosimeter. Recorded while hiking ten mile creek in hume, ca,on september 4th 2014 you can barely hear the man yell "pull" before the gunshots from far away. This sound was recorded on a hand held digital recorder and has not been edited at all.

Alienxxx and i had a little private dare. This is how it sounds when i have mixed the two resulting files. I made a schematic sketch on a simple modular patch. All info was this sketch. Recorded binaurally using sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural microphone headset, 12vdc battery box, sound devices mixpre-6 at 24/192. Postprocessing: digital gain, downsampled to 16/48. Flac: encoded. The rock formations here play appealing tricks with the sound of the running and falling stream. Facing out over falls dropoff, vaguely. A lot of digital gain (+30db?) was applied in postprocessing. The analog preamp was originally set to +21db on the aux-in (ch5/6) input, but this may not have been the optimal gain staging. Recorded from line-in from a 13-year-old boombox tuned to the bottom of the am dial and placed near the computer. You can hear the cd-player starting up, working, stopping, working again. At one point i skip through a track with winamp creating a choppy sound. When the cd player stops you can hear the base computer noise.

Recording of the noise an ipad makes when you type, press a button etc. I recorded it by plugging a zoom digital recorder into the headphones out of an ipad. I couldn't find this effect anywhere else, so hope it's useful. Message me if it's of use to you.
